RAINFALL

Most of the Geelong urban area enjoyed average to above average rain in October. On the Bellarine Peninsula howevertotals were generally 10% below average, but in the Moorabool and Otways catchments generally the situationwas reversed with above average results. Therefore the mean temperature for October 2013 was 14.0 degrees C. Average is 13.7C.The hottest day was the 20th when the mercury touched 31.7C and the lowest overnighttemperature of 4.7C occurred on the 4th.
