Geelong was slightly warmer than average by about 0.6 degrees. Average minimum temperature was 11.2 C (mean is 9.9 C) and average maximum temperature was 20.2 (mean is 20.5 C). The top temperature was 25.9 C on the 25th, and the coldest day reached 16.2 C on the 9th. On the warmest night the temperature reached 14.9 C on the 7th and the 15th, and on the coldest night the temperature reached 3.9 C on the 30th.
RAINFALL
The rainfall reached approximately 65.0 mm, with the Breakwater total about 60.0 mm. Most of the region received above average rainfall.
OTHER FEATURES
No severe storms, no wind gusts exceeded 60 km/h and no other features existed, except for a few rare Aurora Australis (see photo above) occurrences.
